Elephant Nature Park is a reserve established near Chiang Mai to rescue and rehabilitate elephants. It's about an hour's drive from Chiang Mai, and worth the trip. We got to feed and bathe the elephants, and learn about their plight. You need a full day for this, but we were ready to go before it was time.
